Osiris
Osiris is a tribute to resilience and growth. It is comprised of twenty-eight death masks, each representing one year of life lived at the time of the creation of the original mold. Each porcelain recreation of my face is broken and mended using kintsugi, a Japanese ceramic repair technique that honors the life of a fractured ceramic by highlighting the fissures with gold.
